Report on celebration of National
Youth Day, 2022
National
Youth Day, also known as Vivekananda Jayanti, is celebrated on 12 January,
being the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984 the Government of India
declared this day as National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated
in India every year.
On 12th January 2022 Vivekananda Kendra
Vidyalaya, Mangaldai has celebrated this auspicious day on the school premises
with great zeal and enthusiasm. A cultural program was organised by the
vidyalaya. The program was started with the chanting of Mangalacharan and
Bharat Mata pujan, followed by speech by chief guests :- Mr. Tilak Chandra
Sharma and Subhadra Sagaria. The program consisted of traditional group dance,
drama based on Swami Ji's childhood incidents, patriotic song, solo dance, etc
followed by prize distribution. The event was concluded with the chanting of
holy shanti Path. It was a successful
event.
