National Mathematics Day Celebration: A Tribute to Numbers and Logic
On December 23, 2025, our school vibrantly celebrated National Mathematics Day to honor the birth anniversary of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The day commenced at 9:00 am with an impressive Model Exhibition and Presentation, where students showcased their creativity through innovative geometric structures and mathematical prototypes. The formal program began with the auspicious Mangalacharan and Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a warm welcome and guest introduction by our Principal, Angsuman Kashyap. Debojyoti Singha Sir enlightened the assembly on the Significance of the Day, paving the way for an intellectually stimulating Guest Lecture.
The atmosphere turned electric during the Mathematics Quiz Competition for Classes VI to IX, as young minds battled it out with logic and speed. Students also participated in a variety of engaging Mathematics Games—including Mental Math Challenges, Math Bingo, Puzzles, and a thrilling Treasure Hunt—meticulously organized by our Mathematics Department with the guidance of Ranjan Sir and Debajit Deka Sir. The celebration concluded with a Prize Distribution ceremony to honor the winners' excellence, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, leaving everyone with a renewed passion for the beauty of numbers.
